This word means 'rest'.
It's hard to explain how to pronounce this word. It's close to oat*dookh... where you need to say the H in the "kh" (like the end of the German word 'buch'.) Mr. Binder is still struggling to say "hello" at this point of the trip, but he was comforted that at least when his app said it was the one of the hardest words for Americans to pronounce in Russian.
The students today had a rewarding experience, taking part in a folklore therapy circle where members of the camp had their chance to be active and interact. Then after a walk to the river with some of the campers, we were back in the van with Igor off to the airport for out flight to Yekaterinburg. So, with two busy days coming, and with us about to meet our Russian high school counterparts, it was mostly a day of rest.
There was no wiFi at the camp, so the students' vlog could not be uploaded, but stay tuned... it will be updates when the students aren't exhausted.
