July 3- Preparing for our Journey

One June 6th, four juniors from my classes found out they were selected to be the first US anchors of Disabilities Partnership TV (DPTV), a new online-based student media project developed by the US-Russia Social Expertise Exchange (SEE) (through the Eurasia Foundation.)  As part of DPTV, the Fall 2017 Comm Tech classes at Hempfield High School (HSDTV7) will work with their Russian counterparts to jointly produce a season of news magazine-style broadcasts about disability-related topics.

To prepare, the participants will be traveling to both Moscow and Yetkaterinburg, Russia to meet with their international collaborators.
